I wanted a phone that resembles the design of the Nokia devices like the Lumia 1520. To that end I think I've succeeded and wanted to share what I've done in case others want to try. In doing so I wanted to use as many Microsoft services as possible and make it still feel like Windows 10 Mobile. So, I decided to let this be the last straw that pushed me to try Android for the first time since 2011. I was forced to move on by my employer who essentially said I can either enroll in their Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) program with Android/iOS or carry around a work-issued iPhone. My wife is still using her Lumia 950 and loves it (especially for the camera - still one of the best). I have been running some version of Windows Phone since 2012 (along with my wife, Mother, Mother-in-Law, and so on). I switched to Android from Windows 10 Mobile in May of 2017.
